Description:
Gorditas are a chulucana form showing the daily chores of people from a small village. Most tasks are centered on food, but some show more mundane tasks such as combing your hair or playing an instrument. Gordita is a term of endearment and it literally means “chubby”. It’s not uncommon for a couple in Latin America to have a nickname that may sound cruel to someone from another culture, but it really used a term on affection. “Gordo/a” and “flaco/a” are common nicknames among couples.
